Pinoy Tambyan Shows

PInoy Tambyan, a Filipino from Borneo is best known as a surfing destination in the Philippines, but he has also established his place in the art of writing and blogging. His first novel "Ate Bagong Bayan" or The Last Word in the Book was received with much interest in the world of publishing. This is why PInoy Tambyan decided to launch his own blog which is also his very own website. A blog is a great way for an author to interact with his or her fans or readers and share valuable information with them. Aside from giving useful information on his or her works, PInoy Tambyan hopes that readers would also be inspired to share their own creative ideas with him. And so, he invites all people who love Filipino arts and culture to visit his blog and contribute to it so as to establish a healthy link and relationship between the two.

The first thing that you should know about PInoy Tambyan is that he started his passion for writing while he was still a student at the University of San Diego. It was there that he took interest in Filipino arts and culture and he began to blog about it. And now almost one year after starting his pinoy forum posting, he is finally releasing the first book in his Pinoy Fever series. The book is titled "The Last Word in the Book: On Filipino Writing and Mythology."

PInoy Tambyan is actually not the only one venturing into the arena of writing about Filipino arts and culture. There are actually many writers who have been inspired by Filipino culture and oral tradition. And while some of them have been published worldwide, like Tamby's novel "Ate Bagong Bayan," others are just beginning to gain recognition even in their own countries. One such example is Filipino writer Randa J Balog (MA cum la Rana) whose most recent book "Agua Bendita" has already been turning heads worldwide. His books are usually about love and family, but recently, he has also delved into political issues, which are becoming a huge concern in the country and the world today.

Aside from his own novels, Randa also aims to write more about Filipino life and culture. In one of his recent works, he wrote an article about a pilot forum where in he interviewed several pinoy women. What he noticed in their responses was the prejudice they encountered not only in the course of their work, but also in their daily life. He felt that since he tried to talk to these women, he was able to empathize with them and even understand them better, thus helping him to write a more positive article that would hopefully help other people realize that not all foreigners are good.

As you may have noticed, Randa has quite the following already. Aside from being a successful novelist and author, he's also established his own online network called "The Real Filipino". His website features articles on almost every pinoy-related topic you can think of - from dating to fashion to religion. The pinoy forum has also gained its own following online since Randa started it as a free membership to anyone who wants to share his views on Filipino life and culture.

If you want to know more about Randa J Balog and his writings, you can check out his website or simply follow him on Twitter - both are now updated for better communication. Keep in mind though, that if you decide to follow him on Twitter, make sure you only do it for the purposes of learning and improving yourself. Otherwise, you might just end up annoying him and turn him off instead of making him a friend. After all, we all know that relationships should be built on trust and understanding. Balog understands that better communication can only occur once you're friends first.
