PINOY TAMBIGAN

All The Free Pinoy You Can Now Watch Here

Produced and starred by the ever popular singer, Manila Lama, Pinoylambigan is a Filipino remake of the popular TV series, Happy Days. The show, in English, is called "Lavo E Enrile" which means "The Great Show." It follows the life of the show's many characters - five celebrities each with his or her own storyline that revolves around them.

One is Rufus P. Pinoy, a Filipino rock star who is a fan of the hit TV series, King of the Hill. He goes on a bender with his bike (in English: the "Piloto"), which gets stolen. He then ends up at the drunk tank, where he has a meltdown and vows to get his revenge. The police are called and he gets locked inside the tank.

His friend, Pinay Yap, finds him there and takes him to her house for help. He then decides to enter into a singing competition, which he wins. But when he gets home, his mom tells him that they ran out of money so he is supposed to pay her back the next day.

The next day, he returns with several lambs, which he names Pinoy, Pinche and Pangil. They are good at their job and easily take over a restaurant. But Rufus wants them to do more, like opening a store. The show then chronicles their rise.

The main storyline happens every week - the show becomes addictive. The writers are really good at creating exciting storylines. The show also tackles some serious issues. Like, how does a person juggle love, family, career, acting, music, politics, drugs - and even vegetarianism? And what about the pressure of being a starlet - how does it affect your mental health? There's even a sex scene in Pinoylambigan, albeit a tasteful one.

I especially love how they address the Filipino women in the show. Even the youngest stars like Alodia Gosiengfiao, Stephanie Menon, Alopedica Navarrete, and Aida Tiong have a Filipino wife or girl playing their role. It helps the younger Filipino girls realize that they too can be successful as a star. Watching Pinoylambigan, I felt connected to the struggles of the Filipino women. In fact, I would watch this show again just to know more about these women and what hardships they go through.

The music and dancing in Pinoylambigan are great. The choreographer's cute little dance routines are priceless. Watching them burn it up on the dance floor is so fun. Watching Aida and Stephanie's dance routine in particular is memorable. I particularly remember the one when Stephanie jumped over a table and slammed her foot on the ground while doing her cowbells.

The whole cast and crew are definitely engaging. The dialogue is witty and hilarious at times. The music is good. Although there's a lot of it that's not great. But, it's always enjoyable to watch. This show is likely to gain popularity in the future.
